arvato Systems & Raynet form a strategic partnership

Raynet GmbH, Europe’s leading company for software packaging and Application Lifecycle Management products, and arvato System, the global IT specialist for solutions in the area of digital transformations, have agreed on forming a strategic partnership.

Using cloud technology pays off – this is something, both companies are aware of. To offer their customers additional benefits and to optimize their services, Raynet and arvato Systems decided to mutually strengthen their solutions. With the addition of the RaySuite to the Cloud Solution Portfolio, arvato Systems is now able to cover integral services throughout the Enterprise Application Lifecycle Management – from license management, to software packaging, to software deployment. These services can be offered from within the cloud, with servers in Germany and real time access to devices and information.

The security and availability of data and applications also convinced Raynet to take this path, and to offer its customers the potential of a centralized provisioning of software managing products in the cloud. Customers profit from usage-based invoicing as well as better performance and availability of the whole IT infrastructure. Furthermore, the resulting flexible solutions encourage teamwork and communication between team members. This innovative cooperation leads to a WIN-WIN-WIN-situation for both companies and their customers.

The option to put into effect a hybrid model also offers fundamental advantages to the customers of arvato Systems as well as to the customers of Raynet. Classic forms of software packaging and software distribution can be combined with cloud services and thereby provide for individual constellations for everyone.

This portfolio of solutions offers flexible and cloud-based services in a best-of-breed infrastructure. Raynet is providing the path for an effective cooperation with its workplace management services and its widespread sourcing solutions. In cooperation with Microsoft, arvato Systems is already offering standardized services within the cloud service Office 365, as well as standardized Office applications from central data processing centers. With the all-in-one approach, the customers are offered an overall service and migration package including the accompanying infrastructure services.

The application readiness for cloud is a big issue in close conjunction with the application readiness for Windows 10. Having long term experience in this area, Raynet and arvato Systems assist their customers as reliable partners. Customers not only receive the ability to migrate to the next operating system, but also prepare for future scenarios.
